Commemoration of Silver Anniversary Of

 Monsignor Steven R. Camp

The Reverend Monsignor, Steven R. Camp, Monsignor of St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin, recently celebrated the Silver Anniversary of his Ordination into the priesthood. A Mass commemorating this momentous occasion was celebrated at St. Christopher's. Monsignor Camp, a native of East Williston, has been on the pastoral staff at parishes throughout the Diocese since entering the priesthood. He has also been the Chaplain for both the Baldwin and Seaford Fire Departments for the last twenty five years. Monsignor Camp, the son of the late Richard and Eleanor Camp, was joined by numerous members of his family and friends to witness this milestone. Also on hand were many area officials and community leaders who have worked very closely with the Monsignor throughout his years of service. Nassau County Clerk Maureen O'Connell along with Congressman Peter King and Assemblyman David McDonough, took part in the celebration and shared with Monsignor Camp their congratulations. He was presented with a Citation in recognition of this event and in honor of his great commitment to the community.
