SOUTH FLORAL PARK PAYS TRIBUTE ON ARMED FORCES DAY

(Mineola, NY) The Incorporated Village of South Floral Park held their annual Armed Forces Day Ceremony to honor all members of the five U.S. military branches. First celebrated in 1949, Armed Forces Day recognizes the contributions of Americans serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Community residents joined Veterans, military personnel and area officials to honor these men and women for their unparalleled dedication to preserve and protect our freedoms.
