COUNTY CLERK ATTENDS MINEOLA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT CELEBRATION HONORING EX-CHIEF LOUIS SANTOSUS

(Mineola, NY)  A dinner was recently held by the officers and members of Company No. 1 of the Mineola Volunteer Fire Department for the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration honoring Ex-Chief Louis Santosus.  Chief  Santosus has been a dedicated and valued member of Company No. 1 of the Mineola Volunteer Fire Department serving as Vice President and President.  He has been a Chairman of numerous committees as well as Fireman of the Year of Company No. 1, the Mineola Volunteer Fire Department and Town of Hempstead.  Chief Santosus is presently serving as a member of the Fire Council and the Nassau County Critical Incidence Stress Management Team.

Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell along with New York State Senator Jack Martins, New York State Assemblyman Ed Ra and Mineola Mayor Scott Strauss, took part in the celebration and shared with Chief Santosus their congratulations.  He was presented with a Citation in recognition of this event and in honor of his great commitment to the community.
