Mangano: Canon U.S.A. To Continue Sponsorship Of Annual International Music Nights In 2012

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today lauded Lake Success-based Canon U.S.A., Inc. for announcing their continued sponsorship of the County’s International Music Nights Concert Series at Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre. Canon U.S.A. will provide $44,000 to support these events throughout the summer of 2012.

“The International Music Nights Concert Series is a great Nassau County tradition with nearly two dozen nights dedicated to music and culture that honor a range of ethnic groups,” said Mangano. “I thank Canon U.S.A. for their continued sponsorship of these events and welcome residents to another exciting summer of musical performances.”

The 2012 series will feature nearly two dozen concerts at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre, with starting times of approximately 7:00 p.m. The schedule will be made available later this year.

Lakeside Theatre is located near parking fields 6 and 6A in Eisenhower Park.  Special accommodations are available for disabled patrons, including reserved parking, easily accessible restrooms, and a convenient reserved location on the hill.  Assistive hearing devices are also available for the hearing impaired.  There is no formal seating at Lakeside Theatre, so concert-goers are urged to bring folding chairs.
