Mangano Announces Eisenhower Park Mini-Golf Has Opened For The 2013 Season

Course Named the “Best of Long Island” by News 12 Long Island

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that the miniature-golf course at Eisenhower Park has opened for the 2013 season. The facility, one of Nassau County’s most popular mini-golf courses and named “Best of Long Island” by News 12 Long Island, features two 18-hole courses (“Mountainside” and “Overlook”) with terraced landscaping that incorporates a waterfall, small ponds, flower beds and a number of challenging holes.

The mini-golf course is located near parking field 5 and is wheelchair and baby-stroller accessible. The premise includes two gazebos with picnic tables that are available for children’s parties.

The course is currently open Friday’s from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Beginning on Monday, May 27th the course will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Fees are $7 for adults and $4 for children (under 13 years of age), and seniors for one 18-hole round. Eisenhower Park, the jewel of Nassau County’s park system provides over 930 acres of activities.
