Mangano Welcomes Ague Enerviv'a Headquarters to Bethpage

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that Agua Enervivá, a new beverage manufacturer with a line of low-calorie natural energy drinks created by former executives of Vitamin Water, has located its 3,000 square foot headquarters at 15 Grumman Road West in the Bethpage Business Park. Earlier this year, the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) provided Steel Equities – owner of the property - with an economic development compact to assist in renovating the 372,000 square foot former Grumman Aerospace factory.

County Executive Mangano stated, “My economic development team has been successful in attracting new employers and thousands of new jobs to Nassau County. Agua Enervivá headquarters is a terrific new additional to our local economy and we welcome them to Nassau County.”

Agua Enervivá initially operated from the Greenwich, Connecticut. The company has a dozen employees in Bethpage with room for 25. Carol Dollard, former Chief Operating Officer of Energy Brands, the company behind Vitamin Water, and former Energy Brands Chief Financial Officer Michael Venuti established Agua Enervivá in 2012. The Whitestone, Queens-based company they helped to create to produce Vitamin Water, Energy Brands, also known as Glaceau, was sold to the Coca-Cola Co. in 2007 for $4.1 billion.

Michael Venuti, President of Agua Enervivá, stated, “Just as Vitamin Water grew from just a handful of employees to more than 500, Agua Enervivá is looking to grow. While it was difficult finding affordable space for this company with limited resources, County Executive Mangano and the IDA introduced our company to Steel Equities and quickly came to terms for the space. We thank them!”

Agua Enervivá is a new concept in healthfully minded, naturally energizing beverages, combining the best of all categories – sports drinks, enhanced waters, and energy drinks, tied together with the flavor and vibrancy associated with Hispanic culture. Agua Enervivá is available in five flavors: Pomegranate Berry, Orange Passion, Fruit Punch, Kiwi Strawberry, and Mate Lemonade.

The Aqua Enervivá founders took their inspiration from the Hispanic beverage agua fresca to create a low-calorie drink with natural caffeine from the guaraná berry, which also touts electrolytes for hydration.
