Mangano Announces Job Fairs To Help Residents Find Work
Teams up with Long Island Job Finder to Put People Back to Work

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced that Nassau County will sponsor two job fairs, one in September and one is October, in an effort to help put people back to work.

In September, the County has teamed up with Long Island Job Finder to sponsor a fair on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. located at the Long Island Sheraton Hotel, 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge. For more information, please visit: www.lijobfinder.com

In October, Nassau County will host a job fair on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, located at 1 Davis Avenue, Garden City from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. For more information residents can call (516) 227-8656.

Employers from across Long Island will be seeking candidates for all positions, including entry and management level, licensed professionals, and technicians. There is no charge for admission and parking is free.

"My administration is committed to creating economic development opportunities wherever possible. Attracting new employers, supporting small business development and expanding our job base is essential to Nassau’s future,” said County Executive Mangano.
