Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) joined the Nassau Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for

their recent voter registration drive in Syosset. The event was held at the St. Mary of the Angels, Mercy First facility.

Legislator Abrahams spoke to the home’s residents and staff about the importance of voting in every election. Mercy First is

one of New York’s leading not-for-profit human service agencies serving more than 4,000 children, teenagers and families each year in

Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties. Legislator Abrahams is pictured with Delta Sigma Theta sorority members
