April 25, 2003 Abrahams holds first of four community meetings
Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) recently held the first of his four spring community meetings. The event was at the Freeport Memorial Library and touched on the County Executive's Economic Plan, the first time homebuyers/housing program, small business and new business loans/grants, and an update on police activity and gang prevention. The meeting in Freeport was extremely successful and acted as a forum for Abrahams and community members to exchange ideas.
