LEGISLATOR MUSCARELLA URGES EMPLOYERS TO POST JOB OPENINGS ON COUNTY WEB SITE

With the onset of the summer months, Nassau County Legislator Vincent Muscarella (R-West Hempstead) is urging employers who are in need of summer employees to post their job openings on the County's web site: www.nassaucountyny.gov.

"While our high school and college students are still in school, now is the time to start looking for summer employment," said Legislator Muscarella. "Nassau County's web site offers employers the opportunity to post vacancies for positions that they are looking to fill, while at the same time giving our young residents the opportunity to find employment." There is no fee to post a job or to visit the web site.

Posting a job on the County's internet site is easy. It can be done three ways:

On the County's web site via the County's Office of Labor Relations homepage;
Via e-mail by sending information to: jobpost@nassaucountyny.gov
Faxing the information to the Office of Labor Relations at 571-4332
