August 7, 2000 LEGISLATOR NICOLELLO OFFERS TWO FREE BROCHURES ON INTERNET SAFETY FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS
County Legislator Richard J. Nicolello (R-New Hyde Park) is offering two free brochures developed by the United States Department of Justice regarding internet safety for children and teenagers. "Millions of people are now going online to receive email, surf the world wide web, post messages and participate in chat rooms. These two brochures developed by the Justice Department provide excellent advice to parents and their children to ensure that everyone's experience is a positive one and what to do if faced with a problem situation," said Legislator Nicolello.
