Jacobs & legislature congratulate Nassau Community College on high rating

Nassau County Presiding Officer Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) and her fellow Majority members recently congratulated Nassau Community College President Dr. Sean Fanelli on the college's high marks received by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The commission described the college as "an excellent institution that is a leader among community colleges at a national level" with a "wide-ranging and targeted array of services."

"I have long been a proponent and supporter of our community college," said Jacobs. "I am not surprised to learn that Nassau Community College has been rated an excellent institution."

Nassau is one of the largest community colleges in New York and one of the largest single-campus community colleges in the U.S.
