"Take a Moment to Protect Your Health" Mineola, NY - Presiding Officer Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury), the Nassau County Department of Health and the Nassau University Medical Center recently announced the Senior Citizen Flu Immunization Program. "We are pleased to announce this initiative and hope that all of our senior residents will take advantage of this wonderful program", said Legislator Jacobs. "Pre-registration is required at all locations and we urge our senior residents to schedule an appointment at the flu site that directly serves their community or municipality." "Senior residents have the opportunity to protect their health at over 60 convenient locations", added Commissioner of Senior Affairs Sharon Mullon. "Seniors should call 516-571-5990 for information on locations, phone numbers and registration requirements." All flu sites will accept reservations until they have reached their maximum enrollment.
