Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford (R-Long Beach) is looking for politically minded interns, recent college grad or college credit preferred that are interested in a career in politics or law. The job will entail the day-to-day operations of a Legislator's district office, constituent affairs, media relations, attending legislative meetings and sitting in on the operation of Nassau County government. Must have an avid interest in politics and current events, proficiency with a PC computer, and a good phone manner for dealing with constituents and resourcefulness are a must.
