July 6, 2000 NASSAU COUNTY LEGISLATURE AGENDA ITEMS NOW ON INTERNET
Presiding Officer Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) and Minority Leader Peter Schmitt (R-Massapequa) are pleased to announce that the agenda items for the full meetings of the Nassau County Legislature are now available on the Internet. "In an effort to continue to open the legislative process we are pleased to be able to make available on the Internet the legislative agendas for the County Legislature," said Legislators Jacobs and Schmitt. "Residents interested in agenda items will now be able to access them through the County's web site prior to the meeting date." To view the agenda residents are directed to the County web site: www.nassaucountyny.gov. On the front page of the web site residents will be directed to the County Legislature's meeting dates and agendas. As each agenda is available, residents need just to click on the date and the agenda will be made available for reading and/or printing. "The Internet provides limitless opportunities to provide information to our residents. We hope to be able to provide additional information on legislative activities in the future," concluded Legislators Jacobs and Schmitt. |
