Legislator Gonsalves: Lifeguards Wanted Now

County Legislator Norma Gonsalves (R-East Meadow) is letting all interested residents know that the Nassau County Department of Recreation, Parks and Support Services has openings for lifeguards at County facilities. Positions are available now and during the summer at one beach and six pools throughout Nassau County.

Applicants must be:

Nassau County residents
Be 16 years of age and over
Possess Nassau County Department of Health Lifeguard Certification
Possess ARC/AHA CPR Certification

All first-time lifeguards must have completed the ARC Lifeguard Training Course in addition to obtaining the Department of Health and CPR certification.
