Legislator Abrahams Announces Free Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) has learned that the Nassau County Bar Association is offering free Mortgage Foreclosure Consultation Clinic for Nassau County homeowners. It will be held on Tuesday July 20, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association, 15th and West Streets in Mineola. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 516-747-4070. Homeowners facing foreclosure will be able to have individual consultations for advice and guidance with a volunteer Nassau County Bar Association attorney. All attendees are asked to bring mortgage documents to consultation
The clinic will also include:
• Housing counselors from NC Homeownership Center
• Representatives from Nassau/Suffolk Law Services- you may qualify for free legal assistance
• Bankruptcy attorney to answer your questions
