Abrahams and Denenberg Participate in Freeport Cares Community Peace March

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) and his colleague in government, Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick)

participated in the Freeport Cares Community Peace March on May 1st, stepping off from Freeport High School. Freeport Cares is a

community group whose members are elected officials, school district administrators and staff, Freeport Village representatives, clergy

and residents who promote programs and activities that support the needs of Freeport’s youth and their families. The Community Peace March participants wore yellow, the color that represents hope. Legislators Abrahams and Denenberg are pictured with Herb Hardwick,
