Legislator Abrahams Welcomes Pat-Kam Schoolchildren

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) welcomed some very special visitors to a recent meeting of the Nassau County Legislature. The visitors, students in the Pat-Kam School and Early Childhood Center in Uniondale, enjoyed a day filled with hands-on learning about how government works. In fact, the children were responsible for getting the legislative meeting started…they led our elected officials and meeting participants in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
