Abrahams Reminds Residents of Flu Vaccination Dates

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) joined medical officials in reminding Nassau County residents that flu season is right around the corner and the Nassau Health Care Corporations’ flu vaccine campaign will be held at 88 sites for 20,000 seniors age 60 and over. There will also be opportunities for free screenings, complete physicals, and physicians available to answer clinical questions.

“Flu season is coming whether we want it to or not, so now is the time to get vaccinated and learn how to prevent getting sick,” Abrahams said. “I strongly encourage our senior citizens to get vaccinated and enjoy a healthy autumn and winter season.”
