LEGISLATOR FORD WALKS “A MILE FOR MOTHERS”

Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford recently participated in the 2nd Annual “Walk a Mile in Mom’s Shoes” on Long Beach’s boardwalk. Over 300 hundred people walked together to support and raise awareness of the work that Mothers Centers do. The funds raised underwrite a 35 year old program that puts mom first by supporting her wherever her walk through motherhood takes her. “This is a wonderful cause, supporting the journey of mothers can help make families the best they can be”, said Ford.
