In anticipation of the Jewish High Holiday season, Nassau County Legislator Howard J. Kopel will be hosting a public safety forum for all residents. The Nassau County Police Department will review plans to provide enhanced security during the holiday period for houses of worship and other high profile locations, as well as a review of the current security situation in the Five Towns area. Security experts will provide practical recommendations for security plans at houses of worship and provide guidelines on how to react to potential situations. There will be ample opportunity for questions regarding the Nassau County Police Department and the Fourth Precinct.
