Legislator Dunne Attends Robotics Competition

Nassau County Legislator Dennis Dunne, Sr., cheered on the Division Avenue High School Robotics Team at the FIRST Robotics Competition held at Hofstra University on March 30th, 2007. Student teams lead by engineering mentors were challenged to build robots over a 6-week period and then enter them into a series of competitions. “These kids are ingenious, and this program gives them a great introduction into the filed of engineering,” said Legislator Dunne.
