Jacobs Reads to Students at Walt Whitman Elementary School

Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) visited the Walt Whitman Elementary School in the Syosset School District to celebrate PARP week (Real Aloud) on Wednesday, March 9th. “It is one of favorite things to do since I was a former teacher. The children were delightful and the school was so excited by all the visitors and activity,” said Jacobs. Jacobs read to Mrs. Geschwind’s first grade class and share many laughs with the children as she read “A Giraffe and a Half” by Shel Silverstein.
