Legislator Jacobs Appears in "Fiorello" at the Plainview Jewish Center

The Men’s Club of the Plainview Jewish Center is producing and sponsoring the show, “Fiorello” presented by The Patio Players. Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) was invited to appear in a cameo role. She appeared on opening night, Saturday, the 5th of March and will be appearing, again, on Sunday afternoon, the 13th, of March for the final performance.

Jacobs said, “ I am overwhelmed by the talent, devotion and commitment of the people involved in this production. Four months of work went into this show and it is obvious when you see the intensity and excellence of the performances. I was honored to be asked to have a cameo role as a walk-on (and quick walk off) as one of the people, in need, that Fiorello LaGuardia was known for helping.”

The production will also be performed on Saturday night, the 12th, at 3:30 PM. Jacobs suggested that people interested in purchasing tickets should call the Plainview Jewish Center.
