During the National Disability Leadership and Policy Summit held at Hofstra University recently, Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs presented County recognition to Don Dreyer. Mr. Dreyer, the executive director of the Nassau County Office for the Physically Challenged, was recognized for 32 years of unparalleled service to people with disabilities and their families. Mr. Dreyer effected policy changes in healthcare, government and business that will safeguard the rights of physically challenged individuals for generations to come.
