Legislator Jacobs Applauds Spirit and Volunteerism of Senior Citizens

Nassau Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) attended the recent Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs annual conference and award ceremonies held at the Long Island Marriott. The conference included three seminars focused on the health and well being of our senior citizens as well as the recognition of this year’s outstanding seniors. Joseph Librizzi earned “Senior Citizen of the Year,” Margaret Barrett earned “Spirit of Senior Centers” bragging rights and Margaret J. Bullwinkel was recognized as the “RSVP Volunteer of the Year.”
