Legislator Jacobs Attends Day of Remembrance Memorial at

Parkway Elementary School in Plainview

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) and Town of Oyster Bay Councilwoman Rebecca Alesia attended the Day of Remembrance Memorial held at the Parkway Elementary School in Plainview. Representatives of the Police and Fire District, school officials, community leaders were all present as the children led everyone in the Pledge, singing and then planted small flags in the ground. Jacobs said,”This was an extremely moving experience to mark 9/11 by being with the youngsters of today. I told them that they are our future and we know they will use their hearts and heads to lead us in the right direction.”
