The dedication of the Plainview/Old Bethpage Serenity Garden, hosted by the POB Chamber of Commerce took place on Tuesday, June 8th at the corner of Old Country Road and Central Park Road in Plainview. The beautiful garden enhances the area, complete with a painted horse by a Plainview student, beautiful donated benches, one from the North Shore University Hospital in Plainview and one from the Plainview/Bethpage Lions Club. Brick walkways have bricks which have personalized messages and names on them. Complete this beautiful picture with lovely gardens and irrigation provided by the Plainview Water District and you have a completed picture of what can happen when a community comes together to make positive change.
