Legislator Jacobs Throws Out the First Pitch for 2011 SYAC Girl's Softball League

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) was honored to be asked to throw out the first pitch to kick off the 2011 SYAC Girl's Softball League on Wednesday, April 27th. The game was held at the Syosset/Woodbury Community Park. Jacobs said, "The fog and rain did not dampen the spirits of anyone present as the league's 2011 season began. The coaches were terrific, the young ladies were so talented and I will not even mention my pitching ability. Oh well, at least the young ladies have the talent. I wish them all well."
