Parkway Elementary School Visits the Legislature

Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) enjoyed a visit from two 4th grade classes from Parkway Elementary School in Plainview. Joined by their teachers Michael Einert and Karen Bezzina and some of their parents, the children visited the Legislator, met with newly elected

County Executive Ed Mangano, and had the opportunity to visit the chamber where they conducted a mock Legislative meeting discussing

topics such as cell phone usage in school and texting while driving. Jacobs said, "As always, it was just wonderful to have the opportunity

to speak to our young students and realize that the future is in good hands."
