United Veterans Organization Memorial Day Remembrance Service

The United Veterans Organization of Nassau County commemorated Memorial Day with a Remembrance service held Sunday, May 29th in Eisenhower Park. The weather was beautiful as hundreds gathered to pay their respect to our service men and women who gave and still give to protect all of us. “It was an extremely emotional morning which had meaning for everyone who participated,” said Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs.

President, NYC/Nassau/Suffolk Chosen Few Association-For Those Who Were There.

The USS New York is the ship which has steel from the buildings from 9/11 used in its’ construction.
