Mangano & Walker Congratulate “Divas” on Marathon Efforts

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Legislator Rose Marie Walker congratulated participants and winners of the 3rd Annual Long Island Diva Half Marathon, which was recently held at Eisenhower Park in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Some 4,500 walkers and runners participated in the walk/run event which featured a 5K Race as well as the Half Marathon. The Long Island Diva Marathon is the second largest of the five Diva Marathons held nationwide.
