County Clerk Meets With Chinese Americans

(Mineola, NY)   Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell recently joined a meeting of the Organization of Chinese Americans – Long Island Chapter (OCA/LI) in New Hyde Park to speak with the members about the services the Clerk’s office provides to residents.  In addition to discussing Clerk’s Office initiatives to assist and protect homeowners, Clerk O’Connell informed the group to disregard mass mailing solicitations for costly deed retrieval services, some of which cost 1000% more than  the Clerk’s Office fees.

Also on hand was Legislator Judy Bosworth and to join Clerk O’Connell in recognizing the evening’s honorees.
