COUNTY CLERK ATTENDS GOLD AWARDS CEREMONY FOR SEAFORD/WANTAGH GIRL SCOUT ASSOCIATION

(Mineola, NY)   The Seaford/Wantagh Girl Scout Association recently held their annual Awards Ceremony to honor members who have earned the Highest Award in Girl Scouting, “The Gold Award”.  Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell joined other area officials, the leaders and families of the Seaford/Wantagh Girl Scout Association to honor and applaud these young women who have demonstrated enormous dedication to community service.  Clerk O’Connell presented each of the honorees with County Citations in acknowledgement of their wonderful achievements.  Congratulations to Kara, Elena, Brenna, Elizabeth, Kiera and the entire Seaford/Wantagh Girl Scout Association on this special occasion and for all their great works on behalf of the community.
