COUNTY OFFICIALS JOIN POW/MIA CANDLELIGHT CEREMONY

(Mineola, NY)  Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell and Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano joined area officials and community residents at the annual Candlelight Ceremony observing National POW/MIA Recognition Day at the Veterans Memorial located in Eisenhower Park.

Community residents joined Veterans, military personnel and area officials to honor the sacrifice made by both Prisoners of War and those who have gone Missing in Action while protecting our freedoms in service to our Great Nation.
