Corpus Christi Celebrates Final Graduation

(Mineola, NY) Corpus Christi Parish School held their last Graduation Mass and Commencement on June 17th.  The school will be closing its doors at the conclusion of this school year after 88 years.  The pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school opened in 1922 and was originally staffed by the Sisters of St. Dominic, who continue their service there today.  Corpus Christi has served the community well by always maintaining a tradition of excellence in education.  Through the commitment of Principal Susan Anaischik, the entire faculty and staff, the students of Corpus Christi have received a strong educational foundation they will take with them.  Corpus Christi will carry on in the memories of the many families who have been touched by this school.  Congratulations to the graduates and the entire Corpus Christi family!
