Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell recently joined Mineola Boy Scout Troop # 45 for their Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony. Ms. O’Connell, with other area officials, leaders and families, honored and applauded the outstanding young men who earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest award in the Boy Scouts of America, for their enormous commitment to community service. Attaining the rank of Eagle Scout this year were Vincent Buonincontro, Glenn Edward Michael Peters, and Perry Louis Llanes of Mineola, Nicholas Charles Fiori and Jachary Luke Rachell of Roslyn, and Nickolas Andrew D’Annunzio of Old Westbury.
Clerk O’Connell presented each of the Eagle Scouts with a County Citation in recognition of their individual accomplishments. Congratulations to Vincent, Glenn, Perry, Nicholas, Jachary, and Nickolas, and the entire Troop # 45 family on this special occasion and for all their great works on behalf of the community.
