East Williston’s newest Mayor, the Honorable David E. Tanner, was recently sworn into office by Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell.  Celebrating and acknowledging the new Mayor, Ms. O’Connell spoke in recognition of his outstanding dedication and ongoing service to the community.    

            David E. Tanner has been a Trustee of the Village of East Williston for 13 years.  Originally appointed to this post, he ran for his first four year term, and then subsequent terms thereafter. He has most recently been Boardliaison to the East Williston Library.
