(Mineola, NY) At their annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner recently, the Court Officers Benevolent Association of Nassau County (COBANC) honored members of COBANC and the judicial, legal and governmental communities for their generous support and outstanding service. Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell was on hand to join in acknowledging the honorees: Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, Man of the Year; Nassau County Deputy Comptroller and Women’s Bar Association President-Elect Joy Watson, Woman of the Year; Honorable Sharon Gianelli, Fidelis Juri honor; NYS Court Clerks Association President Mike Sigault, President’s Award; James Remsbecker, Distinguished Service Award; Mark Pullo, Meritorious Award; Lt. Frank Bongiorni, Meritorious Award; and Lt. Ellen Stenta, NYSCO Award.
