County Clerk O’Connell Cheers on Special Olympian

(Mineola, NY)  Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell recently joined the New Hyde Park Knights basketball team for a Special Olympics Tournament held at New Hyde Park Memorial High School.  The Knights and the tournament are sponsored by the New Hyde Park Knights of Columbus whose members volunteer their time for this great event.  Among the players was Debbie Chin of Mineola who also works part time in the County Clerk’s Office.  Pictured from left to right are New Hyde Park High School Principal Michael DeMartino, Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell, Debbie Chin, Joe Renta, and Kathy & Joe Abberton.
