Mangano Announces Appointment Of Katie Grilli-Robles As Press Secretary

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today the appointment of Katie Grilli-Robles to serve as Press Secretary for the County Executive’s Office effective January 3rd, 2011.

“It is a priority of my administration to communicate clearly and effectively with the residents of this great county,” said Mangano. “Having Ms. Grilli-Robles’ as our Press Secretary will enable my office and staff to effectively communicate with both the media and residents about ongoing and pertinent issues as well as continue to publicize the many outstanding services and programs currently available to our residents.”

Grilli-Robles has over fourteen years experience in government, corporate, sports and entertainment public relations, marketing and advertising. Most recently, she served as Public Information Officer in the Police Commissioner’s Office of the Nassau County Police Department and as Spokesperson for the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office under District Attorney Denis Dillon. Grilli-Robles’ prior public relations experience includes working for the Town of Hempstead Town Board as Director of Communications; Bohler Engineering, L.C. as Director of Public Relations; The National Football League (NFL); BBC Worldwide Americas, Inc.; and Howard Blankman Incorporated. Grilli-Robles, a lifetime resident of Nassau County, is a Marketing Major graduate of Siena College, Loudonville, New York.
