Mangano Announces Pothole Emergency Response

Nassau DPW sets up email address to report potholes

As Mother Nature continues to wreak havoc on the streets of Nassau and beyond, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced that the Department of Public Works (DPW) has established an email address for residents to report the potholes left behind by the vicious storms seen this winter.

“The dedicated men and women of our Department of Public Works are working tirelessly to respond to calls for help with potholes,” said Mangano. “This email address will streamline the response process and help DPW pinpoint problem areas more efficiently.”

To report a pothole, send a specific location to: pothole_emergencies@nassaucountyny.gov. When the emails are received, DPW employees will work diligently to assess and address the situation.

“Potholes created by these storms can be dangerous,” said Mangano. “We urge all residents to contact our Department of Public Works either by e-mail at pothole_emergencies@nassaucountyny.gov or by phone at (516) 571-6900.”
