Mangano Named Grand Marshall Of Bethpage St. Patrick's Day Parade

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has been named Grand Marshall of the 20th Annual Bethpage St. Patrick’s Day Parade, to be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011.

Following a mass at St. Martin of Tours Church at 1:00PM, Mangano will lead hundreds of fellow marchers in the procession through the streets of Bethpage.

“I am proud and honored to be named Grand Marshall of my hometown parade,” said County Executive Mangano. “What started out as a small event 20 years ago has become one of the most anticipated celebrations in our community, and I invite everyone to come out on March 6 to help us celebrate the spirit of the Irish in America.”
