Carle Place Restaurant Spurs Economy and Creates Jobs

Nassau Executive Edward P. Mangano today celebrated the Grand Opening of Long Island’s first corporate-owned Red Robin® restaurant, located in Nassau County’s Carle Place as part of his efforts to encourage the growth of small businesses in Nassau County. The County Executive also presented an official congratulatory proclamation to Red Robin® General Manager Andrew Lennox and wished him much success in the opening of this newest Red Robin®, located at 125 Old Country Road.

“Small business is the backbone of our economy, and it’s great to be here today to officially open another terrific restaurant in Nassau County. I thank Red Robin for choosing Nassau County as the home for their newest venture,”said County Executive Mangano.“Local businesses are vital to our community – they create jobs, serve our residents and help keep down property taxes for our homeowners. I am committed to holding the line on County property taxes to help create a better environment for small businesses to flourish.”

To celebrate its Grand Opening, Red Robin is donating .50 cents from every Gourmet Burger sold during grand opening week, from May 9 to 15, to the National Center to help keep children safer.
