Mangano Announces “Haunted Halloween At The Mysterious Village” At Old Bethpage Village Restoration

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that Old Bethpage Village Restoration will host “Haunted Halloween at the Mysterious Village” on Saturday October 20th and Sunday, October 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“I invite everyone to bring your family down to Old Bethpage Village Restoration and enjoy a fun filled day of “Haunted” Halloween activities,” said County Executive Mangano.

The Village’s festivities will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will include:

  • Monster “Scavenger” Hunt
  • Hear the tales of our local grave digger
  • Jack-O-Lanterns/Carving Demonstrations
  • Wear a Costume “ragamuffins” parade
  • Headless Horseman
  • Legend of Sleepy Hallow
  • Tarot Card Reader
  • Broom Making for Witches
  • Creepy Cooking Recipes
  • Grim Reaper
  • Hatter Shoppe
  • Pump Organ
  • Superstitions
  • Scarecrow Making
  • Cider and Molasses Cookies

Old Bethpage Village Restoration provides visitors with a unique and wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience life in a recreated mid-19th Century American village set on more than 200 acres. Old Bethpage Village Restoration is open Wednesdays through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $ 7.00 for children; children under 5 are free.
