Mangano Announces Island Harvest Food And Drink Delivery

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that Nassau County is teaming up with Island Harvest to visit hard-hit areas in Nassau County delivering thousands of sandwiches and juice boxes in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Announcing to the public via bull horns, the food will be distributed by Island Harvest trucks directly to residents, firefighters and EMTs. The distribution, will take place at the following fire departments in this order: Point-Lookout Lido Fire Department, Long Beach Fire Department, Island Park FD, East Rockaway FD, Freeport FD, Atlantic Beach FD, Oceanside FD, Massapequa FD, Bellmore FD, Seaford FD, Wantagh FD, Hewlett FD, Lawrence-Cedarhurst FD, Inwood FD, Woodmere FD, Baldwin FD, Merrick FD.
