Mangano Announces Tryouts For The 2nd Annual Nassau County Executive Cup

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced that on Saturday, July 21, 2012 Nassau will once again host the County’s top high school and adult soccer players in the 2nd Annual Nassau County Executive Cup, which will be held at Mitchel Athletic Complex.

Boys & Girls Try-Outs will be as follows:
- Saturday, June 16th at Cantiague Park: Girls: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. / Boys: 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 20th at Cedar Creek Park: Girls (Field 1) & Boys (Field 2): 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 27th at Cedar Creek Park: Girls (Field 1) & Boys (Field 2): 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The finest high school aged boys’ and girls’ soccer players from around Nassau County will showcase their talents in front of college coaches from the tri-state area. This event will provide student athletes the opportunity to compete with the best in the county.

The 49-acre Mitchel Athletic Complex centrally located just west of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, hosts a variety of local high school and collegiate athletic events, as well as local sports leagues annually. The facility includes a track and field stadium (nine lanes) with an oval containing a synthetic field suitable for football, soccer and lacrosse.
