Mangano: Teresa McLean To Perform Noontime Concert At Eisenhower Park

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that Teresa McLean will perform a two-hour noontime concert on Wednesday, August 15th at Eisenhower Park, adjacent to parking field 6A. The concert is free.

Teresa McLean, the perfect blend of style, grace and entertainment, will take the stage and lead the audience through a passionate musical journey. Her act is sure to please as this seasoned entertainer will provide concertgoers with her signature moving vocals and lush orchestrations. An array of musical varieties will also be on display as Teresa performs music ranging from country to R&B and from Broadway to those “Golden Oldies.” Her unique style will captivate as she salutes some of the great ladies of song including Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Dinah Washington.

This programming at the Lakeside Theatre is made possible through the Nassau County Hotel/Motel Proceeds Grant, which are proceeds from taxes on hotel and motel rooms in Nassau County. Since 2006, Nassau County has received more than ten million dollars from the Hotel/Motel Proceeds Grant, which also has assisted in historic building restoration and other cultural enhancements.
