Mangano Announces The First Women Of Color Forum At The African American Museum Of Nassau County

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano invites residents to attend the County’s first Women of Color Forum to be held on Saturday, September 15th from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the African American Museum of Nassau County located at 110 North Franklin Street in Hempstead.

There will be several seminars on topics including healthy lifestyles, entrepreneurship, and finance. We will also host a teen forum geared to our young girls to inspire them to follow their dreams through hard work and determination.

All proceeds from the “Women of Color Forum” will assist and bring more educational, theatrical, and art programming to the African American Museum.
